of 11.4 degrees here in Tokyo but weather forcast said it

will be getting cold from this evening and please wear warm!

Here are examples of arithmatic calculations: Two point

five multiplied by four equals ten; seven divided by three

is two with a remainder of one.

 

여기에 산수계산 예가 있습니다. 2.5 곱하기 4 는 10;

7 나누기 3 은 2 하고 나머지가 1.

( 곱하기, 나누기, 더하기, 빼기! )

 

Words,Phrases & Patterns

> arithmatic  ; 산수, 산수의, 수학, 수학의

> multiply ; 곱하다, 늘리다
> remainer ; 나머지 ; remain 남다

 

여기서 multiplied 는 곱해지면,  divided 는 나눠지면 이란

뜻입니다. 참고로, 곱하다 가 아니라, 곱해지다, 나누다 가 아니라,

나눠지다 란 뜻의 과거분사(문법적으로)를 씀을 기억하세요.

 

아래 예문에서 더하기, 빼기 도 함께 공부하세요.

( = 는  is, equal, make 중에 하나를 쓰면 됩니다 )

 

우리말로, 곱하기, 나누기, 더하기, 빼기 를 표현하고 싶으실때는,

multiplied, divided, plus, minus 동사를 써 보세요. 

 

예를들어;

a. 2 multiplied by 4 is/equals/makes 8 ( 2 x 4 = 8 )

b. 30 divided by 6 is 5 ( 30 나누기 6 은 5 )

c. 2 plus 5 equals 7 ( 2 + 5 = 7 )
d. seven minus three is four ( 7 - 3 = 4 )
