Good morning all,

 

It is sunny this morning but it is colder than yesterday with morning lows

of 10 degrees and daytime highs will be 13 degree here in Tokyo.

So wear warm when you go out and be careful not to catch a cold.

Here is today's english!

you please. If anything should go wrong, I'll take full

responsibility for it"

 

우리의 걱정을 덜어주기위해서, 그 메너저는 우리에게

" 당신이 하고싶은 대로(방식대로) 하세요, 뭔가 잘못되면,

모든 책임은 제가 지겠습니다 "

Words,Phrases & Patterns

> relieve  ; (걱정,불안을) 완화시키다

> anxiety ; 걱정, 근심, anxious 불안한
> take responsibility for.... ; ..에 대한 책임을 지다.

 

여기서 Do as you please 의 as 는 접속사로 ...한 대로,

..한 방식으로... 의 뜻입니다. ....대로의 뜻으로는 like....를

써도 되는데, as가 정식표현이고, like는 격식차리지않아도 되는

상황에서 씁니다.

참고로, as 는 다기능어로서, 부사로 쓰일때는 ....같이, ...만큼 의

뜻이고, 전치사로 쓰일때는 ...로서 의뜻입니다.

 

오늘은 as(접속사) 의 .....대로 에 대해서 알아둡시다.

 

우리말로, ..하고 싶은대로, 시킨대로, 말한대로 라고 말하고 싶을

때는 as, like를 써보세요.

 

예를들어;

a. Do as you like ( 좋을대로 해 )

b. Do as you want ( 원하는대로 해 )

c. Do as I told you ( to do ) ( 내가 시킨대로 해 )
d. Do like I told you ( to do ) ( 내가 시킨대로 해 )

e. As I said, it is rather urgent ( 내가 말한대로, 이건 급한거야 )

f. Like I said, it is rather urgent ( 내가 말한대로, 이건 급한거야 )
