엄한 얼굴을 한 상사가 격노한 목소리로 명령했다.
"정신차려! 이것은 생사의 문제야. 한 순간의 주저함
으로 너의 목숨의 댓가를 치를 수도 있어!"
( 영어공부도 생사의 문제입니다, 더 이상 주저하면 안되요!)
여기서 cost..... 는 cost + 사람 + 돈 의 형태로 쓰이는
4형식 동사 입니다. 한 자기 주의할 점은 목적어인
사람+돈 의 순서를 바꿔서 쓸 수 없다는것이죠. 그러니까
항상 cost + 사람 + 금액(물건갑) 순서로 쓰세요.
참고로, take + 사람 + 시간 도 꼭 이순서로 써야되요.
우리말로, 이거 얼마다, ..하는데 몇시간 걸리다 라고 말하고
싶을때는, cost+사람+돈, take+사람+시간 을 써 보세요.
예를들어,
a. How much does it cost? ( 그거 얼마예요? )
b. That camera cost me $300 ( 그 카메라는 $300 였어 )
c. How long will it take for you to finish that ? ( 그거 끝내는데 시간이 얼마나 걸릴것 같아? )
d. The flight took us eight hours ( 비행기는 8시간 걸렸어 )
