Good Morning all,

Nowadays It is getting cold! Be careful not to catch a cold!

Here is today's english:

" Where there is a will, there is a way." " I'm not sure

what it means." " In other words, you can achieve

whatever goal you have."

"뜻이 있는곳에 길이있다"! 많이 들어본 말이죠.

이 예문을 통해서 "무슨목표든 달성할 수 있다"라는

뜻임을 새삼 음미했습니다.

여기서 "where" 는 ...한 곳에 라는 장소를 나타내는 접속사로서

장소의 부사절을 만듭니다. ( "어디" 라는 의문사가 아님 ).

우리말로 " ....한 곳에....." 의 장소를 나타내는 부사절을 표현하고 싶으면,

장소를 나타내는 접속사 where를 쓰세요!

예를들어;

a. Put it where we can all see it ( 그것을 우리 모두가 다 볼수 있는 곳에 두세요 )

b. The cell phone is where you left it ( 핸드폰은 당신이 놔둔곳에 그대로 있어요 )
