Today, it will be a bit warmer than yesterday with the morning lows of -2 degrees and

[ 정리1) the other.... 처럼 the 와 같이 쓰여서 둘중에서 "나머지 하나", 셋 이상 중에서 "나머지 전부" 의 뜻으로 많이 쓰이고, ]
[ 정리2) any other..., some other..., no other... 처럼 부정형용사(不定形用詞) any, some, no 등과 같이 쓰여서
" 그 밖에 다른, 딴..." 로 많이 쓰이고 ]
[ 정리3) the없이 other people, other girls 처럼 복수형 명사앞에서 " 임의의 다른 .... " 의 뜻으로 많이 쓰입니다 ]
[ 이제부터 형용사 other를 써서, " 그 밖의 다른, 딴 , 나머지 전부의...." 의 표현을 할 수 있으시겠죠? ]
[ 참고1) the other books 과 other books 의 차이는? the other books - 나머지 전부의 책, other books - 임의의 다른 책들 ]

오늘은 형용사 other 를 이해합시다. 회화에서 많이 쓰입니다.
( the와 같이 쓰일때, any, some, no...등과 같이 쓰일때, 복수명사 수식할때 이 세가지를 기억합시다 )
1. [ the other.... 처럼 the 와 같이 쓰이는 경우 ]
예문1,2,3,4번에서는 the other...는 둘중 나머지 하나의 뜻( 특정의 것이고, 단수 )
예문5번에서는 the other three....로 여러 승객중에서 나머지 승객 3명 즉, 특정한 것이고 복수.
2 [ any other..., some other...., no other.... 처럼 부정형용사와 같이 쓰이는 경우 ]
예문6,7번에서는 other + 복수명사
예문8번에서는 some other ... 로 쓰인것
우리말로; " 걸 건너편에 하얀집 보이죠! " 를 영어로 하면 ?
( 길 건너편 the other side of the street )
예를들어;
(a) You see a white house on the other side of the street ( 길 건너편에 하얀집 보이죠! )
