Today is Wednesday - Let's start today with a smile!
According to TV news, in Okinawa of Japan it was 22.5 degrees yesterday, while
it was about 9 degrees here in Tokyo. Today it will be cloudy and a little bit warmer
than yesterday with the morning lows of 5.8 degrees and the daytime highs of 12
degrees here in Tokyo. It will be sunny day with -3/5(morning/daytime) in Seoul.
Here is Today's English
Seq 85 ( unit 5 대명사 ) : lesson 17 -one, -body 부정(不定)대명사
[ 오늘은 "사람" 을 나타내는 부정대명사 -one, -body 에 대해 공부합시다 ]
1) everyone, everybody ; 누구든지
2) someone, somebody ; 누군가
3) anyone, anybody ; (부정, 의문) 누구도,누군가, (긍정) 누구든지
4) no one, nobody ; 아무도/누구도....지않다
[ "누구나 Tom를 알아요" 를 영어로 하면? Everybody knows Tom ]
[ "모두가 환호하며 박수를 쳤다" 를 영어로 하면? Everyone cheered and clapped ]
[ "누군가 너를 찾고 있어" 를 영어로 하면? Somebody is looking for you ]
[ "누군가 밖에서 너를 기다리고 있어? 를 영어로 하면? Someone is waiting for you outside ]
[ "누구 계세요?" 를 영어로 하면? Is there anybody here? ]
[ "누군가 전화오면, 나 나갔다고 해" 를 영어로 하면? If anybody calls, tell him I have gone out ]
[ "그건 아무도 하지 못한다" 를 영어로 하면? No one can do it ]
[ "그건 누구도 모른다" 를 영어로 하면? Nobody knows it ]
[ 여러분, 영어 회화에서 everyone, everybody, someone, somebody 표현등이 많이 쓰이는데,
이 표현에 대해서 알고 게세요? ]
[ 여기서 -one, -body 는 부정대명사 every, some, any, no 뒤에 붙여서 "사람"을 가리키는
부정대명사 입니다. 단수 취급합니다 ]
[ -one, -body 의 차이는 -body 가 구어(회화체)에 더 많이 쓰인다는것 외엔 뜻은 같습니다 ]
[ no one 은 한 단어(noone) 가 아니고, nobody 는 한 단어임을 기억하세요 ]
[ 사물을 나타내는 부정 대명사 -thing ; everything, something, anything, nothing 은 내일 공부 ]

1. The police questioned everybody in the room (경찰은 방에있는 모두에게나 물어보았다)
2. Everybody has a way of his own (누구나 자기의 버릇이 있다)

5. Has anyone heared of it? (누군가 그것에 대해서 들었어?)

오늘은 -one, -body 의 부정대명사에 대해서 공부합시다. 회화에서 많이 쓰입니다.
1. [ every, some, any, no + -one(body) 로 사람을 나타내는 부정대명사 ]
예문1-6번에서 everybody, someone, anybody, anyone, nobody 의미 아시겠죠!
참고1;
- someone, somebody는 긍정문에 쓰이고,
- anyone, anybody 부정,의문,조건에서 많이 쓰입니다.
2. [ -thing 에 대해서는 내일 공부 ]
우리말로; " 어제는 아무도 안 왔다 " 를 영어로 하면 ?
( "아무도....지않다" 를 한단어로 하면? nobody 를 써 보세요 )
예를들어;
(a) Nobody came yesterday.
