'그들 둘다 21살이다'를 영어로 하면? - 9/15(목)

( both, either, neither )

 

그들 둘다 21살이다 : Both of them are 21.

 

-> 여러분, 두개 중에, 둘다 (both), 둘중 하나 (either), 둘다 어느쪽도 아니다 ( neither ) 는

    다음과 같이  both of ..../ either of...../ neither of.....  의 형태로도 많이 쓰입니다.

 

  Both of them are 21.  그들은 둘 다 21살이다.

 

  There are two pictures on the wall. I didn't like either of them.

                   벽에 그림이 두개 있는데, 나는 그 둘 중 어느쪽도 좋아하지 않는다.

 

   ** not...either  둘 중 어느것도 아니다..

 

  I like both of those pictures.  나는 그 그림 둘다 좋아합니다.

   

  여러분, 이렇게 쓰는 both, either 는 대명사이죠.  ...의 둘다/양쪽 다, ....의 어느 한 쪽

  을 나타냅니다.
