- 여러분, 작년 (2020년) 10월6일 이전까지는 아침영어를
문법중심으로 구성해서 보내드렸고, 10월 6일부터는
기초회화영어 (월,화), 비지니스영어 (수,목), 그리
현대 시사영어 (금)로 구성해서 보내드리고 있습니다.
오늘은 비지니스 영어로, 어제 수요일 아침영어 내용의
어제까지의 내용은, Takashi씨가 프리젠테이션의 모든
일정을 마치고 호텔로 돌아와서 본사 Sylvia 에게 보내는
내용이었습니다.

Subject: Presentation complete
Hi Sylvia,
The whole presentation, including the Q&A session, went well,
and I think we were able to convey the message that we wanted
to convey.
I had a chance to talk to a couple agents briefly after the presentation.
They told me that the property looked very attractive. They particularly
linked the wooden features.
I think we'll have more information when we visit the agents in
the coming days. As soon as I get new information, I'll let you
know.

부동산업자 방문을 마친후에,
finish (동)...를 마치다. 는 꼭, 뒤에 ....ing (동명사)를 취합니다.
finish to do 같이 뒤에 to 부정사는 못 취합니다.
(그 이유는, to 부정사는 앞으로 할 일에 대한 의미를 나타내는 동사 뒤에 쓰이고,
동명사는 과거의 일이나, 현재 하고 있는 일에 대한 의미를 나타내는 동사 뒤에 쓰이기 때문입니다)
finish 는 현재 하고 있는 일을 마치다, 이므로 뒤에 ...ing (동명사)만을 취하는 동사입니다.
finish a book = finish reading a book 책 한권 읽기를 마치다
She finished vacuuming her room. 그녀는 그녀의 (청소기로) 방청소를 마쳤다.
