TGIF !!!! ( Thanks God It's Friday )

미국사람들이 금요일아침에 큰소리로 하는 아침인사입니다.

다음날이면 주말이라는 기쁨을 나타내는 말이죠.

TGIF!

I worked late and got home around midnight last night.

I was so worn-out and sleepy that the moment I lay down

on the bed, I fell asleep.

여기서 so ~ that... 은 ; 매우 ~ 해서 ..하다, ...할 정도로 ~ 하다.

예) I love you so much that I can give you everything I have for you!

so ~ that.... 은 ...의 정도를 나타낼때 많이 쓰이는 표현입니다.

이 글은 unit 250에 있는 글입니다만, 어제밤 제가 정말

집에 돌아간게 자정이었고, 정말 이 글 내용대로 눕자마자

잠들었어요. 어젯밤 제 상황을 100%그래로 나타내고 있어요.

Good morning all,

I like Unit 226;

An MC, which is short for Master of Ceremonies,

is a person whose duty is to see that a certain formal

social event takes place according to schedule.

(여기서 to see는 to make sure 로 하면 더 확실함 )

The reason I like this unit is if I modify these sentences a little, then

I can make a good definition of "PM - Project Manager".

for example,

An "PM", which is short for Project Management,

is a person whose duty is to make sure that a certain formal

project takes place according to schedule.

make sense?
